At LifeKeep ("we," "our," or "us"), your privacy is sacred. We built LifeKeep to help you organize your most critical life details — subscriptions, warranties, bills, vehicle records, and personal documents — and we treat your data with the highest level of security and confidentiality.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide, protect, and improve our services:

Account Information: Your name, email address, password hash, and plan tier.
User Data & Life Items: Details you explicitly input into any of the 10 life hubs (e.g., subscription names, renewal dates, purchase prices, warranty serial numbers, uploaded receipt files).
Payment Data: All credit card and billing transactions are processed directly through Stripe. We do not store or process raw credit card numbers on our servers.
Technical Data: Browser type, IP address, and operational logs solely for fraud prevention and system reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to:

Render and calculate your personalized dashboard, calendars, and alerts.
Deliver reminder notifications (due dates, return cutoffs, renewal warnings).
Process billing and subscription management.
Ensure account security and authenticate your sessions.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or logged items to third parties or data brokers. We do not run third-party advertising in LifeKeep.

4. Data Storage & Encryption

All data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 encryption. Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Database access is strictly compartmentalized by user ID.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You may export all your records in CSV or JSON format at any time. If you choose to delete your account, all associated items, reminders, and attachments are permanently purged from our primary database.
